Attorneys' Fees
If you wish to know the cost of preparing various applications, you are required to set up a consultation with us.  We are a highly professional firm and dedicated to serving our clients with the utmost in professionalism, courtesy, and timeliness.  If you gamble with another firm willing to represent you without consulting with you first, you risk that that firm will later claim that there is something new and unexpected in your for which it will need to be compensated over and above its original fee.  This is not fair to you.

Further, a consultation is imperative, because that way you may be fully advised concerning your situation, and can make a better judgment on whether, and in what way, to apply for relief from the Bureau.  At the same time, it is important for us to know in what way your case may be different, permitting us to set aside the necessary required expenditure of time and level of attention on our part to handle your case in a professional and timely manner.  And, of course, if your case presents no special challenges, you can be assured of reasonable and competitive fee from us.

Applications - Fees.  Our fees are based upon the projected time to be expended in the preparation and submission of your application(s). This includes the time spent in consultation with you to evaluate your case, gather the required information, and prepare the forms based upon what information and documents you have provided, ensuring that you have sufficiently set forth a basis to obtain approval and/or relief.  It also includes communicating with the Bureau concerning your case and other time spent with you answering your questions and providing you an explanation of the meaning of each step taken in the process.

Where your case involves an impediment to approval, such as a prior application denial, or a prior order of deportation, it may be the case that additional investigation, and, in some cases, legal research may be necessary to properly advise a plan that increases your chances of approval.

Immigration Court Proceedings - Fees.  Immigration proceedings require the utmost in attention to detail, and highly specialized knowledge.  At this point, the government is seeking to deport you and thereby also prevent your return to the U.S. for at least five years, and in some cases, twenty years.  A consultation is necessary to properly understand your case and advise you on what sort of action will be taken on your behalf.   Further, it enables us to determine what fee is required in order for our firm to dedicate the necessary time and attention to your case.  Presently, we are waiving our consultation fee for deportation cases where a Notice to Appear ("NTA") has been served and a court date is set.
